TAHAWER: Fostering a Culture of Dialogue Among Iraqi Youth

Since its inception, the “TAHAWER” project has provided a unique opportunity to engage Iraqi youth from diverse cities and cultural backgrounds, emphasizing the value of diversity and mutual understanding. Through this vision, Becorp played a pivotal role in crafting an innovative communication and marketing strategy for the program, overcoming one of its biggest challenges: how to design a brand identity that resonates with all participants, regardless of their differences, making everyone feel included and represented.

Crafting an innovative communication and marketing strategy

Becorp played a pivotal role in crafting an innovative communication and marketing strategy for the program, overcoming one of its biggest challenges: how to design a brand identity that resonates with all participants, regardless of their differences, making everyone feel included and represented. By building a cohesive strategy and brand, the program succeeded in making young people feel they belonged, fostering a collective spirit that encouraged active participation.Through different program elements—including TAHAWER clubs, documentaries, journeys, and activations—the initiative brought young Iraqis together to engage in discussions on cultural, religious, and historical topics that shape modern Iraqi identity. The program’s three key messages were:backgrounds.

  • The Importance of Listening – “Give your ears a chance,” and “Listen to be listened to.
  • ”Understanding Different Perspectives – “See from both sides.
  • ”Embracing Diversity – “One completes the other,” reinforcing the idea that Iraq’s rich identity is built upon diverse beliefs, ethnicities, and cultural

Communication Strategy

It was evident that the program required a distinctive visual identity—one that broke away from traditional government aesthetics and presented a new, vibrant, and hopeful image of Iraq. For each city where the program was launched, a localized visual identity was created, ensuring that the messaging resonated with the youth in that specific region.

Innovative Visual Identity

We developed a fresh and vibrant visual identity for “TAHAWER” that captured the spirit of Iraqi youth while respecting the country’s diverse cultural tastes. This identity reflected Iraq’s rich diversity and inspired young people to take part in meaningful future dialogues. Also, Our team created engaging content for social media platforms that highlighted the program’s mission and invited young people to voice their opinions on critical issues. Through thought-provoking posts, we established an online space for dialogue, bridging cultural divides and fostering shared values among Iraq’s youth.
